Seventh Grade

            Have you ever liked someone so much that you want them to be yours? Sometimes people feel that way.  In the story, Seventh Grade, Victor likes Teresa.

            In the story, Victor promised himself that, “Teresa is going to be my girl this year.” This shows that Victor likes Teresa because if he didn’t he wouldn’t want to make her his.

            During French class Victor tried to impress Teresa by saying he knew French, even though he didn’t. People try to impress people that they like.

            During English class, the teacher said, “Yes, now somebody give me an example of a person-you, Victor Rodriquez.” Victor automatically responded with, “Teresa.” This shows that Victor is always thinking about her. If he didn’t like her he would not think about her as much as he does.

            In Seventh Grade, Victor likes Teresa. He wants to make her his, he tries to impress her, and he is always thinking about her.
